Return of the Tiger: Myo Sim Apparel Sale 2011

Show you're a fan of Myo Sim Karate and Kendo at ACAC with a 2011 t-shirt or sweatshirt. The shirt's back will feature the Myo Sim tiger, last seen sometime before the 2006 40th anniversary shirts.

Shirt back:

Shirt front: The image on the front will be pocket-sized, on the left chest. For the all-cotton, pigment-dyed shirts, you can choose the color of your shirt and whether you want the images printed in white or black ink. For the all-polyester "technical" shirts, images are only available in black ink.

Order forms will be distributed in classes and at workouts. Return completed order forms, with payment, to any Myo Sim instructor or to Jean Lightner Norum by November 25 at the very latest. You can also e-mail an order to Jean at jean (dot) lightner (dot) norum (at sign) gmail (dot) com.

Shirts should be available during the week before Christmas. Last year, a second order was done after Christmas. Because the minimum size for a second order is now 24 shirts, we do not anticipate doing a second one this year. In other words, if you want one (or more), order it (or them) now.

The top image below, done by kendo brown belt Pierre Fihue, will appear on the back of each item, while the front will feature the bottom image, prepared by head kendo instructor Christian DeBaun, "Myo Sim Karate and Kendo" written in calligraphy. Please note that the size of the images here is misleading. The one on the back will "fill" the back of the shirt; the one on the front will appear much smaller and in a "pocket" position. Designs can be printed in white or black ink as long as the same color is used for both the front and the back.

T-Shirt Update

Fat Rabbit has the t-shirt design and order list. The only thing left is to get and approve the proof of the design. July 21 was marked as the latest the shirts should be ready. I'll get them delivered as soon as possible after I get them. If you didn't already pay for what you ordered, I'll obviously want money (cash or check, made payable to Rick Wellbeloved-Stone) before I hand over the shirt(s).
